Finestrat is located 12 kilometers from Benidorm and 55 kilometers from Alicante International Airport. It is accessible via the AP-7 motorway and exit 65-A, from where a local road leads to the town. Finestrat is also directly accessible from the N-332. The old town is inland, but there is also about 267 meters of coastline from Punta del Tossal to Cala de Finestrat (es). One of the best things to do in Finestrat is visit the old town. Every corner of Finestrat's old town is charming and worth seeing. It is built on the foundations of what used to be an Arab castle.

In the park you will find an auditorium, hermitage and two beautiful viewpoints - one over the Mediterranean Sea and the second over the Puig Campana mountain.
The Hermitage of the Santísimo Cristo del Remedio was built in 1925. During the civil war it was damaged. Today, however, you can admire it in all its glory thanks to the contributions of the local people. The setting is also beautiful, great gardens, with unbeatable views of Puig Campana and the coast.
The Church of Saint Bartholomew is a Baroque church from the 18th century in the old town. The figure of Finestrat's patron saint, Saint Bartholomew, is kept inside. You can also admire the town hall building next to it.
Finestrat also has its own beach, La Cala de Finestrat. It is a small secluded beach that is often mistaken as part of Benidorm. You will find many hotels, restaurants, bars, small shops and even a market on Thursdays and Saturdays. La Cala beach can get very busy in the summer months, so be prepared for that!
Near the beach there are two points of interest, both located on small hills - Tossal de la Cala viewpoint and Aguiló tower with great views over the coast and beaches!
